Your Seed

Why Should You Expect A Harvest From Your Seed?

Your seeds of prayer, encouragement, volunteer service time, and finances help this ministry execute our primary functions and are greatly appreciated.

When you let go of what’s in your hand, God let’s go of what’s in His hand, but every SEED requires an assignment.  Many people are unaware of the fact that God has a reward in store for everybody who acts so faithfully:

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

Did you notice in that verse the reward aspect of those who seek to please God?  Whether we expect God to reward us or not, God seeks to reward those who seek to please Him.  Your seed is supposed to reap a harvest; Blessings abound towards those who obey Him, so what are you in need of?

While some nobly say “I give and expect nothing in return from God” they suffer in areas of their lives due to their failure to collect what they are entitled to.  How many blessings are in our Heavenly Warehouse awaiting us?

“..ye have not, because ye ask not.” James 4:2

Even when we look at God challenging His people to give tithes and offerings in the Old Testament, we see God trying to bless us according to the financial gifts we give:

“Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 3:8-12

On this side of the Cross, we know that Jesus removed every curse from the lives of Believers and we are BLESSED to be a blessing towards others.  Notice how God actually invites us to PROVE His existence, to PROVE He will do what He says He will do, to PROVE He is as good and loving towards us like He says He is?

Have you ever experienced something that you KNOW only God could have done?  That’s what He wants us to experience when we wrap our seed with expectation: Prove Him!

Prove God!

In the above passage, notice how God says He will pour us out a blessing so much to where there’s hardly room to receive it?  What is that blessing?

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38

Again, what is that blessing: what is the IT that this verse is talking about?  Whatever you need, that’s what you give!  Whatever you are in need of, NAME YOUR SEED: wrap that seed with expectation, because God promised you a harvest!

What kind of harvest can you expect from the things you sacrifice on behalf of God?

“Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.” Mark 10:28-30

Jesus said “an hundredfold” return is what we should expect from God, and God is not a man that he should lie:

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

How To Give Your Seed An Assignment

The believing Giver assigns a purpose to that seed by naming it (name that seed with the very thing you’re in need of: name it ‘money’, ‘healing’, ‘Fred’s salvation,’ etc.) and put the Word of God in that seed by speaking a corresponding scripture over it.

Brother Kenneth Copeland says if we fail to do these two vital things, we won’t have any spiritual life in that financial seed PERIOD!  And this is why many of our financial offerings have gone up to God in vain!

But Bro. Copeland also says we can resurrect those dead offerings by asking God to remind us of them, and then follow these two steps the right way.  Do this!  It will be worth your while!  Again, here’s how it works:

If you assign a specific name to that financial seed and speak the Word of life into it with a corresponding scripture in the same faith-filled manner that God spoke Words to make things come to pass –because of the fact that YOU were created in God’s image and likeness – the scriptures that you speak over that financial gift actually bring life to that seed, and you as the sower will reap a supernatural harvest of whatever you named that seed to be!

If you have a problem in believing that we as human beings will literally ‘have what we say’ good or bad, positive or negative, take another look:

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23

Remember, the Word of God is incorruptible seed that will never die as long as you water it with praise and thanksgiving to God as if the thing you’re hoping for has already come to pass. And, that seed will not die or be rendered void as long as you don’t speak words of doubt or any words which counter (oppose) the results you wish to attain.

Keep a journal to track how God brings life to that seed every single time!  Keep record of your offerings and watch the names you assign to each seed come to pass!  A seed will meet any and every need! Praise God!  If you are in need of healing, then bless your monetary offering by praying the healing scriptures over that offering and sow it into a ministry of God.

How To Get A Loved One Saved

If you’re concerned about the salvation of a loved one, Kenneth Copeland went on to say “‘Oh God, save Uncle Fred!’ That’s not the way to get him saved!  That’s not a scriptural prayer.”   He’s right because Jesus taught us, if you’re going to spoil a strong man’s house, first bind him:

“Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. Matt. 12:29″

According to Jesus, we have been given the ability to bind and loose, so we better use it:

“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose (release) on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matt. 18:18″

Mr. Copeland instructed us, if you’re going to get Uncle Fred saved, speak the words out loud: “You evil spirit operating in the life of Uncle Fred and keeping him out of the things of God, I bind you in Jesus’ name – now you cease and desist in all maneuvers against Uncle Fred now in Jesus’ name!”

Then, to help Uncle Fred be persuaded the right way, loose (release) some laborers into Uncle Fred’s life, for the Bible said to pray that the Lord of the harvest will send laborers into the field:

“Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matt. 9:38″

Bro. Copeland offered the following sample prayer: “Father, you know exactly who Uncle Fred will listen to, I pray you send laborers across his path with the Words of his salvation – Now I release my faith in this offering, and I’m sowing this in thanksgiving for Uncle Fred’s salvation, his healing and the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the master plan being revealed to him – Glory To God! Amen!”

And sow the financial seed with “Uncle Fred’s Salvation” labeled on it, and don’t cry over him ever again.  Treat him like he’s saved, talked to him like he’s saved even when he’s cussing!  Treat him like you know he is saved because God always fulfills His promises – You’ve got inside information!

Name That Seed!

Whatever the need is in your life, name that seed! “I call this seed HEALING for (whoever)”, but go to the scripture, and speak those scriptures over that seed. What are we talking about?  Name that seed!  Maybe you are in need of supernatural debt cancellation.  There’s a seed in the Word of God for that too!

It can be a seed for any need, and Pastor Copeland teaches that the seed for supernatural debt cancellation is found in Luke 4:19 “To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

This is the year of Jubilee in which God supernaturally increased the annual harvest in a miraculous way to pay off and cancel all the debt in the times of ancient Israel, and this same supernatural debt cancellation is available to the Believer now!  Amen!

“Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:6-7″

Now That You Know…

You as the reader respond to what you hear by giving and sowing into a good-ground ministry such as this one in order for it to take root.  If you need finances, call your offering-seed ‘finances’, if you need healing, call your offering-seed ‘healing’ etc. and watch God bring what you named back to you in a supernatural way!

If you are in need of supernatural debt cancellation according to God’s Word, Brother Copeland teaches us to give our financial seed a specific purpose by naming it “Supernatural Debt Cancellation” and speak Luke 4:19 over it as so: “The Spirit of the Lord was on Jesus and He was anointed to preach the acceptable year of the Lord, and the Spirit of the Lord is on me and I’m anointed to receive it.  Amen!”  Then plant that seed into God’s kingdom – Amen!

While there are some who call this “buying a miracle” by no means is naming your seed a barter for services. We’re not paying God off! Forget the worldly/religious view of it because this is the way God instructs us to release our faith.  Now, go name your seed!
